The Amazing Race @ Sentosa

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! Finally it is over!! The Amazing Race for Talking Hands is finally over. I am so happy. The event started 2 weeks ago and it didn't end even the night before. Eden and I worked the night out till 3 plus to get the clues and etc etc etc printed and ready.

Woke up at 730am. Met at 830am. Set up everything by 1030am or I thought!! The participants came at around 1045am. Briefed, gave clue and off they go!!! Walked around the stations to see if it is ok then ringring ringring... we at 1st place but station master not there yet! HAR!!! so they wait and wait and wait. Where u? Going.. Hurry... Ok... Checked the other stations.. Oh no... play game wrongly...Aiyo...explained...Check the rest. Ok Ok. Everything ok!! The other groups played like mad. Ha Ha. One team met 2 other HI friends and they signed uP!! Yeah!! now in total I have 11 HI, 3 Hearing. Thank you Jesus.

Everything ended well. counted the score, gave the presents and took photos. Smile :)

Btw, I want to thank the participants for coming, the Citycare cadets and staff for volunteering, my beloved volunteers for going all out and of course, JESUS!!! for the success although only got 14 participants. hee...

Yo! What's up!!

So many things have happened since I last blog.

Chinese New Year come and go as if it is only one day... This year, I gave out Ang Pow because I am married. It was heart wenching but God's generosity never end there. Although I have to give Ang Pow, there are some people who still give me Ang Pow!! He is Jehovah Jireh.


Also had the first AA zone outing of the year. Hahaha! Guess what did I do...

Played mahjong with my people!! Can you imagine... We ate yusheng like never before till we "puke" haha.

Went Kukup the night before with my wife's relatives.

Quite fun and interesting to play fire crackers!! But I realised I like have phobia for it. I scare later burn my face and I become even more ugly... Vainty... vainty allis but vainty...
Had overnight prayer meeting. It was just a time of vision sharing and soaking into the presence of God. I love overnight prayer meeting!! Keep it up Jesus!!

More and more things are happening and I realised that I need God more and more. I just can't stay 1 day away from Him... If I ever miss one day, my day will go haywire!! I need you Jesus!! You are my Jehovah Shalom!!

How? How? How???? 12th Mar (Mon) will be THE DAY for Talking Hands cos we are having an outreach for the youth, targetting 80 to 50 to 30..... now at Saturday, only have 12.... Help me God!!!! I need you to provide the people for me. It muz happen!!

By the way, did I tell you I search programs for my CCH electives, did the elective board, did the CCH birthday card, went to Sentosa, went to Boon Lay Sec, meet with teh City Care cadets, planned the event, accompanied a member for uncle's wake, played mahjong(AGAIN!!), did salvation notes, did Double Buzz flyers, ordered buns and presents, make things happened and etc etc etc. I did it all using God's strength!! Things are just happening fast!!

Ask with faith

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind." James 1:5-6.

Do you need wisdom today? Then you can ask from God. It is so amazing how direct God can be. He doesn't hide things but tells us straight in the face that we can ask of him for wisdom and for anything, that is if it is according to his will and most importantly, we have to ask in faith. What is faith? It is believing when you can't see it. So have faith when you ask God for something, don't doubt and it will come to pass.

Some Thoughts

Happy Chinese New Year!! Tis' a season to be jolly!! busy preparing the new year when some thoughts come into my mind.

1. Trust God to provide for your finances.

2. It is expensive to have a jolly good season.

3. Don't incur credit card bills.

4. To be generous, be blind.

Hmmmm. I think I really need to trust God more with my finances. It is becoming a source of my worries and burdens.

Dear God, I pray that you help me with my finances. To help to manage it and to use it wisely. I pray that as I sow to your kingdom, I will reap bountifully. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Change??

I really don't know what to do. This is not the original blog that I am suppose to have!! I have another with the same name gwaang for Jesus but I just cannot find the page to post. Finally after much desperado..... I started this new one. Boohoohoo. I hope that it will delete automatically after being stagnant for a long, long, long time. It all happen when I change my sign in name to gmail and when I log in using the new password, I cannot post anymore. Can anyone who read this help me!!!! Haizzz.. Talk about change... the thing is the only constant thing in life is CHANGE!!

So let's change for the better and not for the worse. It is never easy to do that but if we don't try, we will never know. Don't stay in your comfort zone and hope that things will just change. Step into the unknown and do the impossible!! Try it and you will see the results!! But but but don't do it on your own.... do it with God, ask the Holy Spirit to help you and assist you. Jesus is there praying for you. You can do it one!! Amen.

It is my birthday and I am really thankful that I have lived a total of 21 years!!!!! Oops forget to add another 10 years to it. Ha Ha Ha. Don't worry! I am not in the state of denial. I am thankful to God for giving me a good 31 years and I have not regret living to such an age. It was really a different and memorable one.

Everyone kept asking "Ai Anson how come you never take leave??" Ha Ha. My reply is "I am not 12 years old, I am not 21 years old. Neither am I 80 years old..... So take leave for what??? Life still goes on!" And it really did! Ha ha ha.

As it was Chinese New Year period, did visitation early and it was a bit weird but have to just in case the parent's bring the children shopping!!! Went to Sengkang and it was really fruitful. One particular house made me vomit blood!!

Kid A burped! It is ok to burp just cover your mouth and say excuse me. Burp! ha ha. Burp! haha. Burp! haha. Burp! haha. I told you it is ok to buro but cover your mouth and say excuse me. Show me. BUrp!!!! x 20 times. Hahaha. Ok you like to burp, then burp a hundred times. Burpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburpburp ARGH!!!!!!! How come got such kid!!!

That is not all!! Kid A's brother, Kid B, start laughing and laughing and laughing and laughing.......Kid B, it is not funny. Stop laughing. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Mum came in, warns, laugh, go room, cane out, warn and sniggers..... Where got like that one..... Kid laughs, mum whack! Kid stops.....

Talked to Kid A. I love you not matter what you do and you don't need to do all this to seek attention. Jesus loves you. Kid roll eyes! Argh!! Never mind still say.... I love you for who you are and not your actions. Jesus also loves you. Kid slowly pays attention. Thank God.......

Before leaving, told mum I will be coming more often. God help me!!!

Haiz got distracted... Anyway, went home, watched TV programmes and suddenly Waisum came knocking to give present to my wife. Huh?????????????? at near to midnight before my birthday....... Said dad downstairs waiting, need to go. Stand up to open door for her. Then Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to Anson! Woh! Ah! Yeah! Happy Birthday to you! God is blessing you now, God is blessing you now, God is blessing you Anson! Woh! Ah! Yeah! God is blessing you now!!!! Surprised and elated look. :)

Came in, cut cake, present present and snack!!! Look at photos, watched Seth's and our honeymoon's VCD and go home!!!

Thank you AA leaders for making my birthday a memorable one. You have been the best things that God has given to me. Thank you Waisum, Binghua, Meixiu, Judy, Wilson, Euphrasia, Michelle, Jonathon, Jackie, Zilei, Jackson, Xiuyuan, Melissa, Jenna, Shaoqing, Yongjing, Zhihao, Joel. You made AA zone happening and the best zone to be in. Love you all and love you lotzz!!

a whole new world

A whole new world is shown right before my eyes! Well, I have heard news about some of my workers blogs and decided to 'Kepo" a bit. After a few hours, I realised a lot about people under me. I don't think they will ever see my blog but I will continue to go into their blog to see what is happening to them. Let's just hope that they don't find out!! Ha Ha Ha.
